We make the same annual East Coast Road Trip. Ok, so for the last 3 years we’ve made this same east coast road trip and it changes a little each time. There are a few things that remain consistent. We spend time in Stamford CT, Johnstown PA, and every year my husband, Lil L and I take a “factory” tour in Hershey PA. We take a family picture and buy a few pieces of Chocolate. LOVE IT!
This year we’re taking it one step further. We’re actually going to spend this Friday at Hershey Park! I am so beyond excited! This year my Aunt (she’s only 2 years older than I am, but that’s a completely different post) Uncle and their 3 boys are coming with us!
Did you just hear that? It was me squealing with excitement!
I have our outfits planned. I have my iPhone app downloaded. I know which rides Lil L can ride and I know which ones I’ll have to talk my 12 year old cousins into riding with me. I’m telling you, I am one excited.
Milton S. Hershey, I can not thank you enough for the town! Cute little town, with so much history you can’t help but imagine what it was like 100 years ago. The smell of chocolate floats through the town. Hershey Park was built in 1907 for the employees. Through out the years the park has added rides and updated the park, but the idea is still the same, family enjoyment.
More than 65 rides and attractions, including 11 exhilarating roller coasters and then a whole water park! There are 4 golf courses, but please do not tell my husband. We just don’t have time this year. Though I am looking forward to next summer when you’ll find me at the Chocolate Spa and then at the Water front Cabanas at Hershey Park.
Stay tuned for video and a follow up post! Woo hoo! Hershey Park!
