This Sunday Once Upon A Time starts up again with the highly anticipated and widely talked about Season 4, where we get to see what our friends from Frozen have been up to.
What the writers for OUAT and Frozen fans are giving us, as far as the Frozen characters’ story, is a look at what’s going on in their lives after the ending of the movie. How exactly they get into Storybrooke, you’ll just have to wait and see, but it’ll be interesting to see how some of the characters react to one another, and if those who share traits in common, such as Elsa and Emma’s flair for running from their personal problems, become good friends.
So, from where last left off in Frozen, here’s what we know:
Elsa is Queen of Arendelle. The town loves her!
Anna and Kristoff are in a serious relationship.
And Hans? Well, last we saw of the young Prince of the Southern Isles he was locked up and headed back to explain himself to his 12 older brothers.
This leads me to believe that we can expect him to continue with his dastardly ways when he finds himself in Storybrooke. Actually, for him to find his way there with Anna, Kristoff, and Elsa I’m guessing he was lurking around Arendelle at a close proximity to the royal family at the time whatever magic propels them to the non-fairytale world.
I think we can also expect him to be a pretty vile villain, and wreak havoc on Storybrooke and anyone who crosses his path. You see, Hans, in his original scheme to be the ruler of a kingdom, was not fueled by revenge and hate like Regina was in her very wicked days. Hook, unlike Hans, though a pirate with a natural flair for plundering and causing mayhem at least had a love he cherished and lost, fueling his motives of payback. Hans, one the other hand, is a natural born spoiled brat who is greedy, and selfish, just can’t settle for being a prince. He’s desperate to have it all; riches and wealth, fame, and a throne he can call home. And we’ve seen first hand what exactly he’s capable of to achieve this. Crimes such as kidnapping, manslaughter, and murder come with the same stroke of ease for Hans as unwrapping a piece of candy. This time, however, he’ll be adding revenge, and probably a bit of loathing, to his reasoning for unleashing his dirty deeds while in Storybrooke.
Will he kill Elsa as he originally set out to do? Could he be after Anna, for coming between him and the kingdom that was within his grasp? Who else in Storybrooke will be caught in his crosshairs? It’s hard to say, but I definitely think Hans is going to be a villain we’ll all want to keep our eyes on.
