It’s that special time of year again. Time to take the dreaded family photo for our Christmas card. The kids are super excited. And by excited I mean, “Why do we have to do this stupid photo every year mom?”
My husband has already suggested that perhaps I try and have a glass of wine (or two) this year before we shoot the photo. I suggested that I go to the spa for the day and we hire a photographer. My husband responded to that idea with something like, “What about the ridiculously expensive camera I bought you for…” Lucky for him, or me, I have an unbelievable ability to tune people out. It comes from raising boys who are constantly fighting. La la la la la la.
So I hired a photographer.
My husband told me this conversation took place before the photo shoot.
Keenan (age 20 trying to enlighten our ten year old son): The objective is to make her mad within one minute of the photo shoot.
Noah (stunned): I’m not sure what’s going on this year but she seems to be in a really good mood. It might take us five minutes.
Then they showed up like this for the family photo shoot.
And then I laughed some more.
GULP. GULP. GULP.
For real! Can I just get one DECENT photo???
Thankfully no matter how messed up our crazy family is, Minted is always there! The best part of Minted is the simplistic functionality. Upload your photos, drop them in, change the names and BAM.
These are three of my favorites. It’s so hard to choose which Minted card to use!
