After reading about and corresponding with Julie from Wii Mommies I decided to get off my butt and start my Wii Fit up again.

So today I put Ellie down for a nap, put on my work out attire and headed downstairs to work out. I think it might have taken me longer to set up then it did to actually work out. All of my Wii remotes were out of batteries and so was my Wii Fit balance board. I had to hunt for batteries and then re-sync everything. When I finally got everything set up, the Wii started up, it greeted me, and then commented on my lack of commitment by letting me know that I had been on my Wii Board in 202 days. Does it have to be so testy with me? I mean come on, a girl gets busy. Oops.
I actually have a goal. I leave on vacation in exactly 31 days and today was day 1 of getting in vacation ready shape. I’d like to lose 8 pounds and tone up a bit. Today I worked out for 45 minutes. I boxed, did some strength training exercises, and hula hooped. I’m telling you it’s very unnatural to hula hoop for 10 minutes straight.
I haven’t been completely immobile for the last 202 days. I have been working out on our Elliptical Trainer about 20 minutes, but I enjoyed today’s work out so much more. 45 minutes went by so much quicker then my normal 20 minutes on the Elliptical.
I did take a before picture like Julie did, but unlike Julie, I don’t think I’m going to post it! Julie is my hero!!! Cross your fingers for me! Thanks for the motivation Wii Mommies!
