Baby Shampoo isn’t a product that I ever really thought that much about. I figured any of the baby shampoos that they sell in the supermarkets would be fine. They cleaned her hair and did sting her eyes. Perfect. About 9 months ago when Ellie’s hair started to get longer is when our battle with the brush and tangles began. Every morning was a wrestling match just to brush her hair! I’m sure many of you Mommies can relate!
I’m sure I’ve purchased every brand of Baby Shampoo, conditioners, and detangler sprays that the supermarkets carry, but they never seemed to live up to my expectations. If I sprayed the detanglers on her hair dry they left her hair looking greasy and eventually dirty. I finally resigned myself to believe that every morning was going to be a battle with the hair brush and little L’s growing locks.
I was in Ulta one day to pick up shampoo for myself and decided to look through their aisles to see if they had anything for Toddlers or Babies. There is was, Paul Mitchell baby shampoo! As I picked up the bottle my practical side popped up. Does my 2 year old really need “designer” shampoo? After putting it back maybe 10 times I finally picked it back up again along with a travel size of the Paul Mitchell baby detangler and rushed to the register before I could talk myself out of it again.
That day, after Ellie got up from her nap, I threw her in the tub. I began to scrub away. The first thing I noticed was the scent. At first I thought it might be a bit strong, but Ellie actually commented on how good her bubbles smelled. My husband also loved the floral smell. I sprayed a little detangler in her hair after the bath and brushed her hair fairly easily. After her hair dried it actually look silkier than normal! Even as it got tangle through out the day, all I would have to do it brush her hair and it looked fresh and silky.
I’ve also used the detangler on her hair dry and it’s perfect for a quick brushing and leaves her hair looking clean and smelling good. If any of you have a daughter with long difficult hair, run out and buy Paul Mitchell baby shampoo today! It’s so worth the splurge!!!
So thank you Paul Mitchell for leaving my daughters hair looking beautiful!
