What a whirlwind of a trip this has been! Next week I’ll post my Paris tips, but today I thought I would share a few of my favorite moments. There were so many, but this is just a taste.
All of these photo’s were taken with my iPhone 5. We did so much walking that my Canon T3i was just to heavy to carry around all day.
Ellie had a list of things she must see and do while we were in Paris. Of course you know that the Eiffel Tower was number one on her list. As a matter of a fact, the moment we got off the plane she wanted the car service to take us directly to the tower!
I took this photo from a garden at the Shangri La in Paris. How beautiful is that garden? I do believe that we need to renew our vowels there!
She couldn’t stop squealing when we finally arrived.
View from the top of the tower. What you’re looking at are the gardens where the 1889 World Fairs was held.
Other side of the Eiffel Tower. I show you this picture not because it’s pretty, but because of those high rises in the background. That is La Defense, the business district of Paris. We stayed at the La Defense Sofitel. It was a little far, but a great hotel! I’ll tell you more about that in my next Paris post.
The love lock bridge. This was such a sweet moment. Ellie wrote her name on a lock and tossed her key into the Seine river. I have some great photos of that moment too.
Ellie taking a bow at the Louvre. She rocked it at the Louvre! Following the tour guide every step of the way. Asking questions, listening the stories, and absorbing all of the history. As a family we now have a dream to live in Paris for 6 months so we could spend a whole month just exploring this magical place.
My husband was terrified of Notre Dame. He said it was the spookiest place he had ever seen. It was a little spooky, but beautiful all at the same time. I’m a sucker for the Gothic Architecture. It’s just so mysterious, creepy and my imagination runs wild just looking at this photo. I would love to attend Mass here one day!
