It’s that special time of year again. Time to take the dreaded family photo for our Christmas card. The kids are super excited. And by excited I mean, “Why do we have to do this stupid photo every year mom?”
My husband has already suggested that perhaps I try and have a glass of wine (or two) this year before we shoot the photo. I suggested that I go to the spa for the day and we hire a photographer. My husband responded to that idea with something like, “What about the ridiculously expensive camera I bought you for…” Lucky for him, or me, I have an unbelievable ability to tune people out. It comes from raising boys who are constantly fighting. La la la la la la.
Speaking of boys, trying to get all three of them, in one instant, to look at the camera and smile is about as easy as trying to get my husband to go shopping with me during the Super Bowl. (These are real photos, not staged. I’m. Not. Kidding.)
I actually ended up using this, Exhibit C, as our Christmas card. Because? I gave up.
Thankfully no matter how crapalicious our family photo is, Minted is always there to make the rest of the card pretty. The best part of Minted (aside from the distracting from my hideous family photo with the pretty part) is the simplistic functionality. Upload your photos, drop them in, change the names and BAM.
I’m trying to decide between these three this year.
Which one would you choose?
This post is sponsored by Minted but I use them every year and would have used them without the sponsorship. I. Love. Them.
