Justin and I have been together for over 15 years. We met, well that’s not important. What is important is the love this man has for me. Or wait, is the love that I have for him? I forget. Here is a photo of us at some swanky event.
We share a love of music, dancing, and red bottom shoes. When Ellie was a baby he use to sing her to sleep. Whenever she was upset all she needed was to hear Justin’s voice and she’d perk right up. You see, Justin and I are perfect for each. Our only problem is that, well, he doesn’t have a clue that I even exist.
We won’t let that stop us. Today is a big day for us. Justin and I have waited 7 years for this day! Today is the release of his latest masterpiece The 20/20 Experience.
Let’s make one thing clear right off the bat, this is not FutureSex/LoveSounds. If that’s what you’re hoping for you may be a little disappointed. This is a more mature and chill album. Most of the songs are over 6 minutes long, 7 of them are over 7 minutes! Such a perfect album to relax to with a martini or favorite glass of wine.
He may deny it if you ask him, but my husband loves this album. I’ve caught him listening to it on his own several times. He even tried to rearrange our summer plans so we can catch one of his 12 concerts he has planned.
I preorder the iTunes version weeks ago, but I will be in Target tomorrow to buy the CD. I mean come on! The Target version has 2 extra songs. I couldn’t miss out on that!
Don’t think this is it! Justin announced last night that there are 10 more songs, though there’s no release date yet.
The 20/20 Experience also has me craving to get back into the dance studio to choreograph a few dances!! Who’s with me ladies? Mary? Nicole? Jess? Kathleen? Shall we make a night of it?
So tell me, what do you think of JT’s latest album?
