We posted 10 Incredible Thanksgiving Ideas on Monday. I loved the tree so much I spent yesterday making it. Thank you so much Simply Vintage Girl for the FABULOUS craft.
I changed a few things for my tree:
Instead of just the round pieces of bark I added hearts I purchased at Michaels.
I used a white paint marker instead of chalk.
I bought the bark pieces at Michaels as well as charcoal colored paint and painted the “chalkboard” effect onto each piece of bark.
My favorite addition is this jar of empty gratitudes. On Thanksgiving day each of our guests will write down what they are thankful for on the front and their name and date on the back. Each year we will add to our tree.
This would make an amazing hostess gift if you aren’t the one doing the cooking this year! What a great family tradition this is going to be!
