I love to cook. Wine in hand, time in the kitchen is some of my most favorite times. On the weekends. When I have nothing to do but cook and drink. During the week? It needs to be fast and easy. This recipe is both of those things. I had the pleasure of visiting our good friends from Squirtini Bikini on the east coast recently and she made us several quick and delicious meals. This is a slight variation of one of those meals. 

Ingredients
Steamed Rice
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, diced
2 cups mushrooms
2 cups brocoli crowns
2 cups snap peas
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup teriyaki sauce

What to do with the ingredients:
Steam or boil the rice.
In skillet add butter, olive oil, garlic, onion and chicken and saute until chicken is cooked through. Add broccoli, snap peas and teriyaki sauce.
Simmer until veggies are the desired crunchiness.

Plate it and eat it.
