We just got home wednesday night from a two-week trip to the East Coast. Did I say trip? What I meant to say was we just got back wednesday night from a two-week whirlwind tour of the East Coast. I am so tired, I have a toddler who was still on East Coast time waking up at 4 AM, and I have so much laundry to do and not enough detergent to do it all. All I want to do is crawl into bed and nap! Even though the ants took over our house while we were gone it was all worth it, because I finally got to meet in person 2 amazing Moms!
We started off in North Carolina where I got to meet and hang out with the fabulous Julie, a.k.a. @momspective www.momspective.com and www.wiimommies.com ! I had absolutely the best time!! I can’t say enough good things about Julie and what an amazing person she is. Not only is she beautiful, she knows football, she can drink any frat guy under the table, and she can make my 27 year old little cousin blush like a school girl. He had no idea what he was in for when he agreed to hang out with us! Julie I can’t wait to see you again at the end of the month. You truly are my new “life” friend.
The next morning I had to quickly recover because Lil L, my Dear Husband and I were heading to Asheville for the day. Asheville is beautiful, I recommend it to anyone who want a nice quiet get away!
Then the next day we were on the plane to Boca Raton where we spent two amazing nights at the Boca Raton Resort www.bocaresort.com Beautiful! If you ever have a chance you stay there, it is a must! Then it was on a plane to Philadelphia!
We were heading to Philly because one of my husband’s work associates was getting married. It was also the first chance I’ve had to meet and hang out with Rock On Mommies very own Stephanie. Stephanie has been writing a blog for Rock On Mommies for last nine months. Read more about her adventures as a first time Mommy here http://rockonmommies.com/stephanie/ Stephanie is amazing, beautiful, successful and amazingly calm for a first time Mommy. I love that about her!! Stephanie, thank you for being my dance partner and I can’t wait to see you again! I promise to make it to Chicago soon!
From Philly it was off to DC for two years. After some great time with my sister and my brother-in-law, we were back on a plane to San Diego. We’re excited to be home, where excited to see our friends, but we miss the East Coast so much we’re going back at the end of the month!
