I love do it yourself decor, but I don’t sew! I have a sewing machine… somewhere, but I’m not even sure if it works.
I love all the bunting banners floating around pinterest, but again I don’t sew. I wanted something that was easy, cute and no sewing. So today I’m going to show you how I make a Halloween bunting banner without busting out the sewing needle. The best part of this project, you can customize it to however you want.
I used a canvas painters drop cloth that we purchased for around eight dollars.
It’s water resistant so it’s perfect if you’re going to hang your bunting outside. I love these canvas drop clothes. I use them for outdoor curtains and table clothes all the time. They are inexpensive and normally I can get two years out of them.
Simply measure out your triangles to the size you want and use fabric paint and stencils to add your letters.
Instead of sewing your triangles use clothes pins to attach triangles to the twine. Don’t worry, it doesn’t have be to be perfect. As a matter of fact, it’s better if it’s not perfect!
