Ellie is a huge fan of the Peanuts! She watches Charlie Brown cartoons almost daily on the iPad and has from the time she was little. Every weekend in October Knott’s Berry Farm opens Camp Spooky, a daytime, non-scary, social event of the season with shows, activities and of course, trick-or-treating all geared for children ages 3-11!
We are so fortunate that we live by so many California theme parks, but this will be the first year we get to attend Camp Spooky! This year we’ll be heading up to Camp Spooky with several other local bloggers. Two of my bloggy besties will be going as well! So be prepared to see lots of Instagram photo’s of Ooph, Mama Mary Show Red Lotus Mama and kids!
Here’s a sneak peak at what we’ll be doing.
Snoopy’s Costume Contest and Parade – Ellie and her friends will have a chance to see the Peanuts Halloween “Spooktacular” everyone will be singing and dance to all their favorite Spooky Tunes
Monster Factory – The kids will get to explore a fun interactive maze and create things that go bump in the night.
Creepy Crawly Critter Cave – This one makes me nerves! Creepy Crawlies? UGH!
Scary Stories at the Lodge – Is the one I’m most looking forward to! Master story tellers will spin the crazies, creepiest, silliest tales of the “Great Pumpkin Patch”.
Camp Spooky runs weekends October 5-27 and is included with the regular theme park admission. Make it extra fun for the kids, get more use out of that Halloween costume and have them dress up!
Stay tuned! Promise to share pictures and tips next week!
*Disclaimer – GigaSavvy has arranged for our admission to Knotts Berry Farms, but the thoughts are my own.
