It’s Sunday night and I have the nastiest hangover! Yes you heard me right, I have a hangover. Yes, I’m still pregnant and no I didn’t drink, but I feel like I drank more than anyone else in my house last night.
I hosted a Bridal Shower for a very dear dear friend yesterday. While most showers include a mimosa’s and maybe a few glasses of wine, this one included my husband busting into the tequila closet and handing out shots to my guests. I’m sure at some point I’ll be able to get the margarita smell out of my couch.
I know that I must have been tired yesterday too because I didn’t even get a single picture of the party!!! No pictures of the drink station. No pictures of the present table. No close up pictures of the cake. No pictures of the guest laughing and talking. Just one picture of the one table. I truly failed as a blogger yesterday. For that I am sorry!
I do have a ton of memories from yesterday. Tons of laughs, old stories about the bride and this prego mom may or may not have done the splits at a pole dancing class.
The most important thing I got to do yesterday was celebrate with my dear friend who is the closest thing I’ll ever have to a little sister. In just a few short weeks I have the opportunity to stand by her side as she says “I do” to the love of her life. I can not wait!
What also happened yesterday was a major milestone in my pregnancy. I’ve used all our spring events as a count down to Baby Girl Seid. This was a major one for me and it has been checked off my list. Next weekend, Ellie’s second dance competition. I can’t believe we’re that much closer to being a family of 5.
So back to my hangover. Zach woke me up this morning around 7:30, I turned on Disney Jr. and then promptly fell back to sleep for another couple of hours. I meant to spend the day writing and getting ahead of my week, but I had a hard time motivating myself to get up off the couch!
I can tell you we have a ton of great stuff coming up this week. I’m going to tell you all about Baby Bloggy Boot Camp and the great swag that my husband has already put to good use. We call him MC Daddy around the house.
I’ll share which color Petunia SASHAY SATCHEL I picked and why you need one. Oh and I may even be giving one away!!
Don’t forget to enter the Bath Time Gift Pack from 4Moms, aden + anais and Skip Hop giveaway.
Ok, I may even recover enough to share with you the instructions on how you can make your own Cherry Blossom Wishing tree for a bridal or baby shower.
