I know, we all have crazy lives. I’m just not sure how the rest of you all actually do it successfully. I feel like I’m constantly running late in the and I only have 2 kids!
You may remember a year ago when I broke down my morning routine for you. No? You should go read so that you can see my life has only gotten crazier!
Now that Zach is here and Ellie is Kindergarten things are barely manageable for me. Also, have I mentioned how much I like sleep?
7am – Why is that phone beeping? It can’t possibly be time to get up!
7:10 – Seriously? Why won’t that phone just shut up? FINE I’M UP! You win? Are you happy?
7:15 – Brush my teeth while the shower warms up.
7:25 – Wait, am I still standing in the shower? How did I just lose 10 minutes of my morning?
7:30 – Why is everyone still in bed? GET UP! Brush you teeth! We need to be out the door in 15 minutes. How come I’m the only one that pick out everyone outfits? UGH!
7:45 – Why isn’t everyone ready? Zach why do you take so long to eat breakfast? What is that smell coming from your bottom? 1, 2, 3 NOT IT!
8:00 – Grab a banana and hard boiled egg on the way out the door.
8:25 – Rush Ellie into class.
8:27 – Run to car to make it to class on time
8:40 – Rush up escalators and into The Dailey Method for the 8:45 class.
8:45 – Deep breath, I’m ready for this! Let’st go, high knee stepping, I can do this!
9:15 – We’re only have way through? I’m sure this was easier when I was pregnant. I. Am. Not. Going to make it!
9:45 – Thank goodness that is over. I mean, great workout ladies.
10:15 – Finally time to sit down and catch up on my emails.
10:45 – Where did the last 30 minutes go? Did I really fall asleep with my head on my keyboard? I need a pick me up! Oh wait… Quaker Big Chewy!
10:47 – Oh yes, that does say over 4000 emails! Forget the email, I’ll work on that later. I have to finish that article. Wait, maybe I should check Facebook.
Noon – Feed Zach a little lunch, put him down for a nap. Then I will work on that article!
2pm– Where did my day go? I need to go get Ellie now. Dang you Facebook. You have won this round.
My day is only half over! What about Ellie? I have to pick her up from school and she still has dance this afternoon!! Quaker Big Chewy to the rescue!
So maybe I don’t spend all day on Facebook, but working in the social media world I do spend most of my day on the computer.
Learning to juggle it, a baby, Ellie’s school schedule, her extracurricular activities and figuring out when and what to eat has been a struggle for me. I always have a couple Quaker® Big Chewy’s in my bag for those times that I just need a snack to get me through to next meal! Now the Quaker® Big Chewy Granola Bars have chocolate drizzled on top and are 60% bigger – perfect for my hungry family!
