One of our favorite things to do as a family is to take roadtrips. In August, we flew to the East Coast to visit my sister-in-law and her family in Washington DC. After that we drove to the coast and up to Fenwick Island DE to meet up with my side of the family. Traveling with one seven-year-old, a toddler and an infant means you just can’t rent some compact car. You have to rent something that will fit all the baby gear and all the bags of kid entertainment for the trip.
I spend most trips missing my big ole SUV. Not this time! This time we rented a Chevrolet Tahoe and I was pleasantly surprised! I dare say it was just as nice if not nicer than our “luxury” SUV. When we got home I found myself missing the Tahoe!
Recently when I was sitting in the school pick-up line daydreaming about a new Tahoe, I got an email asking me “How would you envision 4G Wi-Fi in a new Chevrolet changing your life?”
Um, What? Are you kidding me? How would that change my life?
Instantly I had visions of us driving up the coast to San Francisco while I was searching for all the historical spots along the way. No more cellular dead zones. I could let my inner Cliff Clavin out. I could learn new facts along the way and teach my family the wonder that is pointless historical facts. Of course doing all of this while the car is parked!
Wait, maybe we leave the kids at home and head to wine country. I could use the 4G Wi-Fi on the my iPad mini (which does not have a cellular connection) to find all the small privately owned vineyards.
Most importantly…there would be no more fighting over the tablet that has Internet in the car, because they would all have Internet in the car. OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi is the ultimate Wi-Fi hotspot and can connect up to 7 different devices. No more fighting! Well at least no more fighting over the Internet.
Chevrolet is the first and only car company to bring built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi to cars, trucks and crossovers. So what does this mean? My next car will be a brand new Chevrolet Tahoe with 4G LTE Wi-Fi. In black please.
Which one would you pick? See the full line-up of cars here.
Chevrolet is merging the physical freedom of the car with the virtual freedom of Wi-Fi to become the first and only car company to bring built in 4G LTE Wi-Fi to the largest vehicle line-up. Visit http://s.chevy.com/TBX to learn more.
