Our classroom is a candy free zone and I can’t say I’m all that disappointed! While candy is fun to give, it’s awful to bring back into the house. Simply because I’ll be the one that eats it. Then I get depressed that I ate all that candy. Then I complain for the rest of the month that I ate all of Ellie’s candy. I then whine to my husband that I look fat. To which he should respond “No you don’t”, but will instead respond “Well you shouldn’t have had that candy.” Which will then cause an argument because he’s insensitive.
So save the rest of the moms out there from the same agony, here are 3 super easy candy free Valentines.
X’s and O’s Game board goody bag
Deconstructed Gift Bag.
Create a tic-tac-toe board out of card cardstock. Punch out 10 heart game pieces, 5 x’s and 5 o’s. I provided a little bag to help keep them in one place. A couple little goodies such as bubbles and a balloon.
Valentine Pencil Arrows
Simply cut out 4 hearts all at different sizes. One for the feather (glue at the eraser), 2 for the arrow, and the largest one for the center. The center circle provides a great spot for the to and from.
