My favorite feature on our new/not so new house has to be our front porch. We spend evenings and weekends on the porch watching the kids play and just enjoying the ocean breeze. It’s been a great way to get to know our neighbors. Something we missed in our last neighborhood.
I’ve been spending as much time decorating our front patio as I am decorating the rest of the house. I’m always looking to Pinterest for front porch inspiration. Here are ten of my current favorites.
I love the soothing grey and greens. It’s very tranquil and spa-like. I can imagine sitting out on these porches sipping on a glass of mint water and enjoying a good book.
Use the same rules when placing your furniture on a patio that you would in your living room.

The grey and greens are nice, but what about some bright colors? They just scream fun.
You don’t need bright colored furniture to create this look. Simply by adding bright colored pillows you’ll achieve that colorful look. I especially love the retro patio furniture they used.

I see this and all I want to do is go to sleep on this swing. The blues and tangerines are some of my favorite color combinations. I love that they used rope instead of chain to hang the swing. Painting the ceiling blue is a great way to add a pop of color.
